This was supposed to be submitted before "Obey the General" but I couldn't find it until now. As you can see, both those pictures have a sort of tweaked design than the original but you can still recognize it as General Grievous, no? This is a colored head shot. Sharpie pens and Crayola colored pencils. ALWAYS, for all my pictures unless stated otherwise.

The only gripe I have about this is the really light background color, I should have went with something darker.

Oh, one last tid-bit. This was actually copied and scanned unto my brother's birthday cake! We ate Grievous! Yummay! I'll see if I can post the photo of the cake...if I can find it.

This one's really good. As you say: a tweaked Grievous, but still Grievous. Shading, folds in the cloak? His eyes (as with the Grievous in the films, you get a hint of flesh here too) are very vivid. A job well done. I think there's no problem with the background, but maybe you're right and does look better when darker. I can't say. I think it's good as it is. :clap:

Really cool. I like the stylization and the detail around his eyes. A bit buff-looking for Grievous, but to each his own.

That's awesome! :w00t: His eyes are so striking, they just smolder within those sockets :D It's amazing how well you used the colored pencils, the shading is so smooth!! :wow: (Have you ever tried Prismacolor pencils? They come in three "colors" of gray, with six shades for each color, which really rocks.)

What you have fashioned is absolutely amazing, and I am at best astonished that you have not received as many replies as one would expect with such talent. In time, I guess, you shall receive more, but for time being I will remain concerned by the lack of comments.
What hits me the most about the image is the use of defining shapes and colours. The red is most impressive, and like what most people have been pointing out; the eyes are beautiful. The details put into the design and overall effect of the armour is most notable, and I worship you unique style of relaying such. Overall, your rendering is splendorous, and deserves a great deal of credit and focus.
